Safeguarding policy refers to the set of guidelines and procedures designed to prevent and address any form of harm, abuse, exploitation, or discrimination that may occur within the organization or in the communities we serve.
We primarily work to uplift individuals from vulnerable and marginalised communities in rural Nepal. We aim to create a safe environment in which no child or adult will experience harm or exploitation during their contact with us. We have a zero-tolerance approach towards any form of abuse or exploitation by or for any of our representatives.
This policy demonstrates the Peace for People Foundation’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, vulnerable youths, and adults at risk. This policy applies to all the personnel of Peace for People, including board members, employees, volunteers, consultants, interns, contractors, third-party representatives, suppliers, partners, and related stakeholders.
This Safeguarding Policy underlines our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the rights and well-being of every participant, irrespective of age, gender, background, or ability. We will not accept the breach of our policies and take disciplinary, legal, or other applicable actions in response to any violation of our safeguarding policies.
In a nutshell, We prioritize safety, well-being, and dignity. Our commitment to transparent conduct includes clear responsibilities, continuous training, and accessible reporting channels.
